Hello there. My name is Elizabeth Gkortsila. I am 10 years old and I come from Greece. At the age of 3, my ophthalmologist saw that I have an eye ailment called divergent strabismus. The cure, that my doctor suggested, was, to have surgery on both of my eyes, which I did. The surgery was successful but the recovery was very difficult for me. One year ago, during the check-up, my doctor jumped to the conclusion that my eyes started to have a small deviation. In simple words, the problem that I had before the surgery appeared again on small scale. In order to avoid another surgery my opthalmologist suggested a new cure -a method called “Amblyoplay”.Exercise for my eyes during video games. The results were very good (successful cure) and my eyes stopped having deviation. They get stronger and stronger every day. I would easily do these exercises -video games again.
