Our daughter was diagnosed with Amblyopia in her right eye at the age of four. Even with corrective lenses, she was seeing 20/80. After two years of patching, atropine drops, and prescription changes, she achieved 20/50 and on good days 20/40 in her right eye. 6 months ago, her doctor told me that we were getting close to 7, and we’d need to stop patching in order to keep the good eye from regressing.
